ValDetroit promotes homes available for sale in the Detroit area. While our main focus is Land Contract properties, you will also find some traditionally financed properties listed on this site.
ValDetroit does not own any properties. Property owners rely on us to promote properties, show properties and set up signings for land contract sales. Pricing and terms are established by each individual property owner.
ValDetroit represents the seller in the process of getting their properties sold. We work with independent contractors in the Detroit area to do so. Our reputation is important to us and we want buyers to have the best possible experience in acquiring a new home, so we make ourselves available to answer questions and to explain land contract terms to the best of our ability prior to a signing. However we are promoters of these properties, not attorneys nor real estate agents, and there should be no expectation that we would have that level of knowledge or advice for any buyer.
There’s a lot to know when buying a home, and every buyer should find the legal, inspection or moral support needed prior to a signing. They should research land contract rules and norms with neutral, quality sources prior to a signing.
